24 Flashback: While waiting for day 7 what is left is to watch 24 all over again.

Many people decided to watch 24 from day 1 while waiting for day 7 to come. Experiencing 24 all over again is different. The clock ticks different; Jack is more emotional, having Nina Myers, Mandy, David Palmer, Tony Almeida and Michelle Dessler back is a gift, Chloe O’Brian is expected in later seasons. It’s nostalgic to see all the things that Jack had to go through each season and how he has become the man that he is now; lost in his memories without the love of his life Audrey Raines. Alone, angry, forgotten I wonder what’s next for him? After watching the first season, it’s more appreciated how well written this season was. This heart pounding - breath taking episodes had an excellent start. It keeps you wanting for more as all of you know.


After posting some videos of Tony Almeida days ago I recalled how good of an actor Carlos Bernard is. I was amazed by how big of a character Tony was and how unfortunate he had to die. He was a big element in the series. Irreplaceable some say. 24 producers took a big risk to let him go. I still miss Tony and Michelle.

I must say it’s exciting to watch 24 all over again. Many good memories the first time I watched the first episode. For sure, this coming season will have nothing in common to past seasons. Day 7 is becoming more challenging for the producers. Rewriting for the third time the script and the pressure to meet higher standards they confront something bigger than they could have ever imagined. Lower ratings for day 6 will make of day 7 something spectacular.

Counter Terrorist Unit

The Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) is a fictional elite branch of the United States Central Inteligence Agency (CIA) and similar to the real-life NYPD/FBI Join Terrorism Task Force and the CIA Counterterrorist Center's Special Operations Division. Its headquarters are in Washington, D.C. with satellite operations in major cities where threats are likely. CTU's primary mission is to disrupt and destroy foreign and domestic terror cells hostile to the United States, as well as protect the U.S. from terror attacks. With an office in nearly every major city of the U.S., CTU also has a role in creating security policy and fighting groups of organized crime that fund terrorism. lthough CTU is fictional, a similar department, the National Counterterrorism Center, was set up by the government.

CTU offices are run by a Director, also called the Special Agent in Charge, to whom the Director of Field Operations and the Chief of Staff report. Departments within a CTU office include Communications ("Comm"), Logistics, and Tactical ("Field Ops."). Communications and Logistics personnel report directly to the Chief of Staff, whereas Tactical personnel are deployed into Tactical Teams ("Tac Teams") by the Director of Field Operations.

The Los Angeles CTU Field Office houses several areas. The first floor contains the Situation Room, as well as the main communications complex and command center, often referred to as "The Floor." On the second floor is the Director's office. Situated elsewhere in the building are the Information Technology department (I.T.), an in-house Medical clinic, Meteorology department, several Holding Rooms used for interrogation and confinement, and Tech Rooms, which contain the bulk of the physical computer hardware used by CTU.

The CTU offices within a region report to a Divisional Office, overseen by the Division Director. Divisional offices cover a larger amount of territory in their jurisdiction. Finally, the Divisional office and all other offices report to a District Headquarters, overseen by a Regional Director. This title implies that each District Headquarters has jurisdiction over an entire region of the United States.

The game was released February 28, 2006. I played the Demo 24 The Game and it didn't fascinate me as Splinter Cell Series. I still wanted to give a space for trying to make a game about the series. Next some pictures.

24 R: When were the 24 videos shooting dates?
Mark: "The interviews were actualy filmed a couple of years ago,but I've ony just started to put them up onto my 'MySpace' site recently. So they are 'New' to this site."

24 R: You got a picture of Kiefer's interview but there is no video with him on your list. Did you delete it?
Mark: "The Kiefer interview is part of a much larger 'Making Of' documentary wich I hope to put up soon."

24 R: Did you interview Chloe?
Mark: " I did interview Mary Lynn, but unfortunately this has never been edited into a stand alone piece like the others."

24 R: How did it feel to be in CTU? It might have been awesome.
Mark: "CTU was great. I was fortunate enough to film on both sets (original seasons 1-3 & the present set) "

24 R: Have you ever played 24 the game?
Mark: "I have played the game & I absolutely loved it!"

24 R: What did you like the most about filming the 24 videos?
Mark: "The best part about filming the 24 videos was the whole experience of meeting the cast & crew of the show. They really are a fantastic hard working bunch of creative's truly committed to delivering the best show they possibly can. I will be publishing a series of blogs about the whole experience as soon as I can find some time. I will keep you informed."

24 Resource: In my opinion Chloe just kept her last name because she was still in love with Morris. They haven't explained yet why the two got a divorce. I remember Bill let Morris stay so he can help Chloe with the recording but that was a lie Chloe made up. She needed him to help Jack so all of them will discover Logan's betrayal. That was a really good season.

In season 3, what was Jacks relationship with Claudia Salazar when he was undercover in the Salazar drug cartel? Cant really understand what was being said other than she kept patronizing him for becoming a heroin addict. from Jack Bauer 24 myspace user 06/22/07 3:35pm
24 Resource: She appears in episode 8 apparently Jack met her before he met the brothers Salazar, he needed an alibi so he became a drug addict to fool everybody else including Claudia. She finds out later on, helps Jack escape with her family but she gets killed in the act. She was definitely in love with him but I doubt it was both ways.
"Jack sweats through his heroin withdrawal in a room at the ranch. Claudia comes in with food and slaps him across the face. “You said you’d take me away from here, ” she says, feeling betrayed when she learned he was really an undercover cop. Claudia belittles him for being a junkie and deceiving his own country. She contemptuously offers him some heroin, but then feels sympathy. Jack is conflicted because he can’t tell her the truth."

24 Resource: Well according to TV Guide interview:"What's also refreshing is the choice of villain: It's not a Muslim terrorist. In fact, it's not a terrorist at all. And the character is fascinating, someone with a supremely dark past who's done something horrific and whose ambition is to regain his stature in the world."
Well I think there are few choices here. If its someone from Jacks past then I found the next possibilities
Jack himself - It really doesn't make any sense unless he is becoming paranoid with double personality trying to fight himself against himself to continue surviving and helping his country.
Audrey Raines - Last time she lost memory and sick because of the tortures so if she comes back she might have done something horrible that ashamed her. Jack can't see her as a threat but he fight for his feelings because he wants to help the country but also he wants to go with her and stay away from the world.
Bill and Mike Novick - They may have done something in the past we are not aware of I don't see Bill as a threat though.
Wayne Palmer – He is recovering. He did something horrible by stealing the evidence Sherry Palmer had against David and also by witnessing the death of Sherry Palmer and feel responsible about it.
Ex-president Logan - He did so many wrong things so there is a high possibility there
Tom Lenox - He did pretty bad things at the beginning by becoming an accomplice to stop president Wayne dealing with Assad.
Secretary Heller - I really don't see him as a threat so he may be the threat.
Someone new we have never seen but he was in Jack's past like a cousin or best friend.
The next question arises; why would any of the known or unknown characters may be a threat or not threat at all to Jack?

24 Resource: Chloe is an amazing character. We relate to Jack same as to all the other people who relate to him such as Chloe. She is honest, intelligent, brave, funny. She just wants to do what is right and usually what Jack does is always right. Even though, it seems at that time that he may be out of his mind Chloe supports him and she is always loyal someone you can trust so it's why people like her so much.

Chloe O'brian : Mary Lynn Rajskub

Chloe O'brian is a master in computer software. She received her Computer Science Bachelor's degree at University of California Davis. She is introduced in the third season of 24 as Senior Analyst at CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit). Thereafter, she acquires the position of Intelligent Agent and Internet Protocol Manager. Along with Jack Bauer, Michelle Desler, Tony Almeida, George Mason, Bill Buchanan among others she shows reliability and skill of higher standards. She is a very loyal friend but she lacks of social skills. During seasons the relationship between Chloe and Jack progresses since she puts her job on the line to back up and help Jack many times.

Kim Bauer is the daughter of Teri and Jack Bauer. A teenager who dropped high school at young age but after years she decided to get her associates degree in Computer Programming. Then she continue her career working in CTU as a Lever One Analist along with Chloe, Tony and Michelle. She grew strong feelings for Chase Edmunds Ops Operator who worked along with Jack. Kim and Edmunds lived together for a short while until Edmunds decided to go back to work in the field again. It's when Kim left him.

Jack Bauer: Kiefer Sutherland

Jack Bauer is a man living on the edge. He is a federal agent working for the department of Defense of the United States government. He protects United States and its citizens by risking his life fighting against terrorists. His working background includes US Army Delta Force, LAPD Swat and Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU)

He was born in California 02/18/1966. He attended UCLA where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. He received his masters on Science and Criminology from UC Berkeley. After that, he joined the army and he was asked to be part of Delta Force where he was placed in the team "Coral Snake". After joined CTU he was the leader of operations and participated in many successful tasks.

He married Teri Bauer and had a daughter named Kim Bauer. After Teri's death Jack grew apart from Kim and Phillip Bauer his father. Jack is extreme and his actions as a consequence left remarkable consequences in 24.

Jack: "The football has a transponder. It's a traking device that allows anyone to pinpoint its exact location as long as they've got the right frecuency"

Jack: "Tony we're out of time. We need the schematics for the power plant now"

Jack: "I know how scared you are but if this man gets what he wants he's gonna kill both of you. The only chance you have to survive is to separate. You understand me?"

Michelle: "Alright everyone we don't have a lot of time, we are going to fast-track this double-source. All intel through homeland security and CIA. Skip the usual request procedures. Tie into their data directly."

Michelle: "What do we have in the area to run point?"

Tony: "Curtis just left division. He's heading over there right now"

Michelle: "Divert him to western. Have field ops meet him there"

Chloe: "They used blowfish agorithm"

Woman: "How can you tell?"

Chloe: "By the tab on the file headers"

Woman: "Can you decrypt it?"

Chloe: "CTU has a proprietary algorithm, It shouldn't take that long. We'll start by trying to hack the password"

Season 1

Plot: Begins and ends at 12:00 AM. Events occur on the day of the California presidential primary. Jack Bauer must protect Senator David Palmer from an assassination plot and rescue his family from those responsible for the plot who seek retribution for Jack's involvement with a covert U.S. mission in the Balkans.




Season 2

Threat: Nuclear Bomb

Plot: Begins and ends at 8:00 AM. Jack must stop a nuclear bomb from detonating in Los Angeles; then assist President David Palmer in proving who is responsible for the threat.

Plot: Begins and ends at 1:00 PM. While struggling with heroin addiction, Jack must re-infiltrate a Mexican drug cartel in order to keep it from acquiring a deadly virus. Jack must then stop the mastermind behind the virus from releasing it.

Plot: Begins and ends at 7:00 AM. Jack must save the lives of Secretary Heller and his daughter Audrey Raines (with whom Jack is romantically involved) when they are kidnapped by terrorists. The same terrorists launch further attacks against America; and Jack is forced to use unorthodox methods to stop them; methods that will have long-term consequences for both Jack and the U.S.

Terrorists with connections to the U.S. government attempt to steal nerve gas in order to acquire Russian oil supplies, and Jack must resurface to stop them. Jack is captured by the Chinese at the end of the season.

Plot: Begins and ends at 6:00 AM. Jack is released after twenty months of torture in a Chinese prison. Terrorists attempt to set off five suitcase nuclear devices in the United States. Although they succeed with detonating one; they acquire a Russian circuit board while Jack attempted to rescue Audrey Raines. Jack must recover it in order to prevent war between the U.S. and Russia.





Season 7

Season will begin airing in the United States in January 2008. Kiefer Sutherland has been signed to stay with the show through 2009.
